Attribution & Affiliates
Let creators sell for you, and know exactly who drove each sale. Every creator gets referral links; when a sale comes through one, FlipKey.gg attributes it to that creator automatically.
How it works
Share a creator's ?ref= link or let them post it. Purchases and claims that flow through it are tracked back to the creator — tied to social identity, not just a cookie, so it holds across platforms and devices.
You own the payouts
FlipKey.gg tracks attribution and hands you the report; you run your own affiliate program and pay creators through it. FlipKey.gg never holds or disburses creator commissions — you keep full control of your terms and margins.
Statements: we do the arithmetic, you do the paying
On the Creator Program page you set your program's rate (a percent of the pre-tax sale price, or a flat amount per order), its name, and a link to your terms. The payout terms are the same for every studio and are not configurable: net 60 after month end, the terms Amazon Associates uses. Statements run automatically for each closed calendar month; a sale is commissionable 60 days after payment (a chargeback after a statement is issued reverses on the next one); a creator's statement under $50 rolls forward into the next one. Only creators on your roster earn.
Each run issues one statement per creator with activity: every cleared, unstatemented, un-refunded sale paid on or before the end date, priced at your rate as of that run on the pre-tax price the buyer actually kept paying (a partial refund from your Stripe dashboard lowers the base). A refund, partial refund, or chargeback that lands after a statement is issued appears as a negative reversal line on the next statement, for exactly the commission that no longer stands; an issued statement is never edited. When you pay a creator on your own rail, mark the statement paid with your reference. Void a statement if you won't pay it (fraud, dispute); its orders are never statemented again.
Show it on your site, under your name
Pull statements with your studio API key and render them for creators wherever you run your program. The payload carries your program name and terms, each creator's statements in dollars, and nothing about FlipKey.gg or how to pay — that stays between you and the creator. Each creator also carries paid_ytd_usd, the total you've marked paid to them in the calendar year, so you can see who has crossed your tax-form threshold. You are the payer: tax forms (W-9, 1099) are collected and filed on your side; FlipKey.gg never holds them.
