What FlipKey.gg is

FlipKey.gg is a marketplace utility for game publishers — transaction tooling, on-chain receipts, and a creator-attribution layer that complements existing distribution channels like Steam, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo. Buyers purchase through FlipKey.gg; activation hands off to the publisher's own redemption page on the platform of their choice.

We don't compete with platforms on product surface (CDN, anti-cheat, social, cloud saves). We don't touch publisher keys. We provide the transaction layer and the receipt of record, with a streamer- and creator-driven discovery surface for publisher promotions.

For publishers

• Every platform edition of a title on one store-grade page — Steam, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or your own delivery — with art, screenshots, trailers, and system requirements
• Platform price parity by marketplace rule: a Steam key lists at its Steam price. FlipKey.gg competes on bonuses and reach, never by undercutting your platform pricing
• Creator sell-links with per-sale attribution, plus giveaway and streamer tooling (Twitch, Discord, Kick)
• Free bonus items on license sales, and account-bound beta passes for unreleased titles
• On-chain receipts for every purchase, independent of any single platform
• Self-serve refunds before activation; webhook delivery for purchase, activation, and refund events
• Smart contracts independently security-audited and live on Base mainnet
• Planned (v2): an optional secondary market with publisher-configurable royalties — see the roadmap

Key stations

FlipKey.gg never holds your keys. They live in a key station: a small service that hands one key to one verified buyer at redemption. Every listing needs one, and there are three ways to run it:

• Hosted · $20/year. Our partner GameLicense.org runs it for you at yourstudio.gamelicense.org. No server, set up in about a minute. Founding price, paid upfront and billed by GameLicense, not FlipKey.gg. Key redemptions only. Export your keys and move to your own station any time.
• Your own droplet · ~$6/month. The full starter kit on a server you own, paid to DigitalOcean. One command, about 10 minutes, no Linux experience needed. No key cap. Key Station Plus is available, custom work required: your game backend has to grant the items.
• Your own stack · free kit. Already have a backend? Run the Publisher Starter anywhere, or add the Redeem SDK to what you have. You only pay your own hosting.

Key Station Plus is for studios whose game backend can put an item straight into a player's account, no key involved. It unlocks freebies on license sales, items you sell, creator giveaways and watch-drops. No extra charge: pass a quick webhook test on your own install and it turns on. Plain license sales and beta passes don't need it.

FlipKey.gg is built and operated by the same team behind flipmynft.gg — a general-purpose NFT marketplace where we cut our teeth on marketplace listings, wallet authentication, and on-chain receipts. FlipKey.gg is a focused application of that infrastructure for the specific shape of game-license commerce.
