Every game on FlipKey.gg is sold by its publisher, who is the merchant of record for the sale. FlipKey.gg runs the checkout and the refund process. The refund terms that apply to a listing are shown in the checkout window before you pay, and those terms stay with your purchase even if the listing changes later. Where a listing shows its own refund terms, those terms apply.
Most licenses show "Full auto-refund before redemption (within 14 days)" at checkout. If you have not redeemed the license, you can request a refund from your Library within 14 days of your purchase. It is approved automatically and refunded in full to your original payment method. The license is removed from your account when the refund is issued.
Redeeming a license reveals or delivers your game key, and a revealed key cannot be taken back. After redemption, a refund is at the publisher's discretion: request one from your Library and the publisher reviews it. If the publisher approves it, the license is removed and the refund is issued to your original payment method.
Some listings are marked "Final sale" in the checkout window. They have no automatic refunds; any refund is at the publisher's discretion.
In-game items are final sale. They are yours to keep and cannot be traded or transferred. If something goes wrong with your order, contact us.
Licenses and items you receive for free have no charge, so there is nothing to refund.
Payment is taken when you complete checkout. To cancel a purchase before you redeem it, request a refund from your Library as described in section 1.
A publisher may limit how many refunds one account can receive on a listing. You can buy only one copy of a game per account; a refunded copy does not count toward that limit.
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, the license (and any item that came with it) is removed from your account as soon as the dispute is opened, and it is not restored. Please contact us or request a refund first; it is usually faster.
Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. Most banks show the refund within 5 to 10 business days.
